🍷 Tasting of the 2018 Corton Grand Cru les Maréchaudes by Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve

Château de Meursault  is in its third year of organic conversion and we have the HVE Level 3 certification, “High Environmental Value”.

According to Bettane & Desseauve,  “The whites have both a dynamic tension and a generous mouthfeel.  The reds, whose berries are destemmed and optically sorted, undergo low-temperature fermentation and then age for 12 to 15 months in barrel, offers a sappy, fleshy, deep aspect, with racy 2018.”

The sunniest of all Cortons, just acquired by Chateau de Meursault in 2017. A wine of perfume and suppleness, with a lot of maturity, delicacy, an omnipresent balance.A generous wine with spicy notes, slightly tight tannins.
